2. Information we collect
We collect no personal information that you do not voluntarily provide. Specifically:
2.1 Information you provide
When you complete the contact form, we collect the information you enter: your name, phone number, email address, company name, communication preference and the content of your message. This information is sent to us by email so that we can reply to you.
2.2 Information collected automatically
As you browse the site, our audience measurement tool (Google Analytics) collects technical and usage information: pages viewed, visit duration, referral source, device type, browser, operating system, language and approximate region. Google Analytics 4 does not log your full IP address.
We use no other tracking, advertising, profiling or retargeting tools. We do not sell, rent or trade your information.
3. Cookies and tracking technologies
A cookie is a small file placed on your device by a website. Our site uses only Google Analytics cookies:
- _ga — distinguishes one visitor from another. Lifespan: 2 years.
- _ga_<identifier> — maintains session state. Lifespan: 2 years.
These cookies help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. They do not allow us to identify you personally.
3.1 How to refuse or disable tracking
You may refuse or withdraw your consent to these cookies at any time:
- by changing your choice in the consent banner shown on your first visit;
- by configuring your browser to block or delete cookies (steps vary by browser);
- by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Refusing audience measurement cookies has no effect on your ability to use the site.
4. Purposes for which information is used
- To respond to requests you send us through the contact form;
- To measure site traffic and improve its content and usability;
- To ensure the security and proper operation of the site.
We do not use your information for any other purpose without first obtaining your consent.
5. Consent
By completing the contact form, you consent to our use of the information provided in order to reply to you. By accepting audience measurement cookies, you consent to their placement on your device.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting the officer named in section 1, or by changing your cookie preferences. Withdrawal of consent is not retroactive.
6. Disclosure and transfer outside Quebec
We do not disclose your personal information to any third party for commercial purposes.
Information collected by Google Analytics is processed and hosted by Google LLC, whose servers are located in the United States among other locations. This processing constitutes a communication of information outside Quebec. We have assessed this transfer and consider that it provides adequate protection, given the non-identifying nature of the information involved and Google’s contractual data protection commitments.
We may also disclose information where required by law, including at the request of a competent authority.
7. Retention period
- Contact requests — retained for as long as necessary to process your request and maintain our business relationship, then securely destroyed.
- Audience measurement data — retained for a maximum of 14 months in Google Analytics, then automatically deleted.
8. Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We apply reasonable physical, organizational and technological security measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold. No transmission over the Internet can, however, be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Your rights
Subject to the conditions set out in law, you have the right:
- of access — to confirm that we hold information about you and to receive a copy of it;
- of rectification — to have inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous information corrected;
- to withdraw consent — to stop, at any time, processing based on your consent;
- to portability — to receive the computerized information you provided to us in a structured, commonly used technological format;
- to de-indexation — to request that dissemination of information cease, or that any hyperlink giving access to it be de-indexed, under the conditions set out in law.
To exercise any of these rights, write to the officer named in section 1. We respond within 30 days of receiving your request. Access and rectification requests are handled free of charge.
10. Confidentiality incidents
In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we will promptly notify the Commission d’accès à l’information and the individuals concerned, and will take reasonable measures to reduce the risk and prevent recurrence. We maintain a register of confidentiality incidents.
11. Questions or complaints
For any question or complaint regarding this policy or the handling of your personal information, please first contact the officer named in section 1.
If our response does not satisfy you, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec: cai.gouv.qc.ca.
12. Changes
We may amend this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the legal framework. The version in force is the one published on this page. If we make a significant change, we will notify you by a notice on the site.
