EXPERTISE Custom development

The software fits the trade,
not the other way around

No off-the-shelf software was written specifically for you. That’s normal — it’s written for the average. The real question is whether your trade fits inside that average.

When custom is justified — and when it is not

If your company works like the others in its sector, an off-the-shelf product is almost always the right call. Cheaper, faster, already proven. We’ll tell you so.

Custom becomes the right call when your way of working is your advantage. A product catalogue that isn’t really one, because every order is calculated. A timing constraint nobody else has. A process you spent twenty-five years refining. In those cases, bending your processes to fit the software means throwing away what sets you apart.

Making the systems you already have talk to each other

Often the problem isn’t a missing piece of software. It’s that the ones in place don’t talk: accounting on one side, the machines on the other, suppliers by email.

We build the bridges — APIs, EDI, direct links to the PLCs — and go find the missing piece if there is one. And we graft onto what’s already running rather than replacing it, whenever that’s possible.

Delivered in phases

A system almost never goes live all at once. We break it up so that each piece earns its keep the day it ships, rather than waiting until the end of the project to get anything out of it.

And we work with whoever needs to be involved — your internal IT, an outside vendor, a firm already on the job. Bridging between us isn’t your job.

What we build

Complete management systems

Orders, customers, products, purchasing, inventory, planning, shipping, invoicing. One place instead of three systems and two filing cabinets.

Web applications

Customer and supplier portals, extranets, internal tools reachable from anywhere.

Shop-floor tools

Production lists on screen, clock-in, quality checks triggered automatically, scanning on a mobile device. The hardware is chosen for where it works: a device that lives on a forklift is not an office device.

It belongs to you

No monthly licence per user. No feature that disappears when the vendor changes strategy.

The system is yours, and it evolves when you need it to.

The proof

  1. Emballages Eco-Pack

Eco-Pack’s system has been running for eight years: four major phases, no rebuild.

  2. Borderon et fils

Borderon’s system absorbed a complete reversal of the business model — an off-the-shelf package would not have held up.
